On September 26, 2025, representatives from the BridgeHead Office (BHO) participated in the European Researchers’ Night – TWISE Night (second edition), held at the National Institute of Applied Science and Technology (INSAT) in Tunis. Through a dedicated EURAXESS information stand, the BHO team welcomed a large and diverse audience, including students of all levels and specializations, representatives of associations, and young professionals from various institutions, all proved eager to learn more about the opportunities offered by EURAXESS.
The stand sparked much interest, with visitors keen to discover the mobility schemes, funding opportunities, and career support services available for researchers and innovators in Tunisia and beyond. For many participants, it was their first encounter with EURAXESS and an eye-opening introduction to a European initiative that connects researchers with international job offers, fellowships, and collaboration networks.
Events of this scale play a crucial role in strengthening the national research and innovation (R&I) ecosystem. By fostering direct interaction between students, researchers, institutions, and European initiatives, they help to raise awareness of international opportunities, inspire future careers in science and technology, and encourage cross-border collaboration.
