EURAXESS Worldwide has recently expanded its scope of intervention in Africa by including TUNISIA which celebrated on Friday, November 19, 2021, the official launch (kick-off) of Tunisian EURAXESS Network , organized, with the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Moncef Boukthir and enhanced by the presence of the Ambassador of the Delegation of the European Union in Tunisia, Mr. Marcus CORNARO.
Tunisian Euraxess Network, which is dedicated to support incoming and outgoing researchers, will be established throughout Tunisia in university clusters, and it will also have socio-economic impacts and promote the attractiveness of Tunisia as a destination for research and knowledge.
To celebrate the launch of its new project "Tunisian Euraxess Network", the Management by Objectives Unit - UGPO - in charge of the European Research & Innovation Programmes in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS), organised on November 19, 2022, a special event in hybrid format, under the ambition of "The discovery of a new Horizon", bringing together its partners from the European Commission, the Euraxess Worldwide, the Delegation of the European Union in Tunisia and all the key actors and stakeholders of the National R&I system and the media.
The Agenda included presentations on cooperation between Tunisia and the European Union in R&I area, presentation of TEN project with activities and support actions, as well as feedback and best practices from members of the Euraxess Worldwide, via video- conference.
