On September 25, 2026, EURAXESS Tunisia took part in the European Researchers’ Night – TWISE Plus 2026, held at the City of Sciences in Tunis. The third edition of the event brought together researchers, academics, students, institutions and other stakeholders from the research and innovation ecosystem for an evening dedicated to science, research and innovation.
Through a dedicated information stand, the BridgeHead Office (BHO) introduced visitors to the services and opportunities available through EURAXESS. Students, early-career researchers and other members of the scientific community had the opportunity to learn more about international mobility, research funding, job opportunities and career development services available through the EURAXESS portal.
Beyond the information and exhibition spaces, the programme included meetings with researchers, interactive scientific activities and thematic round tables addressing current issues in research and innovation, including artificial intelligence in research, the valorisation of research results and their socio-economic impact, and the role of mathematics in the education of tomorrow.
For EURAXESS Tunisia, participation in TWISE Plus 2026 provided an opportunity to engage directly with the research community and raise awareness of the practical resources available to researchers seeking international mobility, funding and career opportunities. By bringing these services closer to students and researchers, EURAXESS Tunisia continues to contribute to stronger connections between Tunisian researchers and the European Research Area.
